Old Man Can’t Just Died…

Saturday, August 30th, 2008

I just finished Clarence Thomas’ memoir, “My Grandfather’s Son.” Every American needs to read this book. In fact, if we as a nation want to learn what it means to actually live the American Dream, then every American should read this book.

I will cherish this book because it has an inscription from the Justice himself; this book is a precious gift to me from his wife Virginia and him, and he addresses Eddie in it. I won’t go into detail because it is personal between my family and the Thomases.

Palpitating Pat

Friday, August 29th, 2008

If you have ever wondered if Pat Buchanan has lost it, watch this video. Obama gives a speech without substance and Pat is getting the same tingly feeling that Chris Matthews experienced. Perhaps MSNBC is not grounding their sets properly? And someone really should give Pat back his reading glasses!

Barry’s Buddies

Wednesday, August 27th, 2008

You notice the men Barack Obama calls friends? Reverends Jeremiah Wright and Michael Pfleger, Tony Rezco, and most disturbing, William Ayers are four men that a presidential wannabe probably should think twice about hanging out with.

There is a video that Senator Obama is trying to have pulled off the air, going so far as demanding that the Justice Department conduct a criminal investigation against the producers. I want you to watch this video and tell me what is criminal about it. So much for freedom of speech!

Fightin’ Fire with Fire

Saturday, August 23rd, 2008

To be fair and impartial, even though I’m not impartial, if rumors are true John McCain will be picking Mitt Romney as his VP choice. That would be a horrible choice for a number of reasons (just search Mitt Romney here and you’ll see why), and there is these video tidbits that the Obama campaign could use against the McCain campaign.

I’m just sayin’…

Say It Ain’t So Joe

Saturday, August 23rd, 2008

That’s not some little boy asking Shoeless Joe Jackson if he cheated on baseball (search Black Sox Incident), it’s Barack Obama. Biden looks at Obama, thinking “I have a higher IQ than you” and says “Barack Baby, you were standing right there!”

Good on the McCain Campaign for getting this out so quickly!

Biden His Time

Saturday, August 23rd, 2008

its-biden.jpg

Well Obama and the smartest man in the world, Senator Joe Biden of Delaware, are the new hope of America. That may mean that McCain will go with Mitt Romney as V.P., which I’m no fan of. This will be interesting to see how this all plays out.

Political Pandemonium

Friday, August 22nd, 2008

So the Olympics are almost over and America is turning into the home stretch towards electing a new president. So much to speak on so I promise to try to keep you up-to-date with all the latest going-ons.

Who’s going to be Barack’s running mate? Who cares?

McCain Campaign Video

This video is probably the best I’ve seen so far and the Bryan Duncan in this is the very same Bryan Duncan of Christian music fame. Enjoy!

Update on CPT Porter

Thursday, August 7th, 2008

Folks, it seems that I acted too soon and took CPT Porter’s words to heart and it seems as though the young captain is under some intense pressure. Lance Fairchok, who writes for the New Media Journal and I work with, sent me the following email. Lance is in information operations:

Dave,

Tuesday’s Tidbits

Tuesday, August 5th, 2008

First I want to end an email rumor that has been swirling around the Internet about Barack Obama. The email is usually titled “From our friend who is serving in Afghanistan” or “Obama Ignores Troops” and it says this:

Hello everyone,
As you know I am not a very political person. I just wanted to pass along that Senator Obama came to Bagram Afghanistan for about an hour on his visit to ‘The War Zone’. I wanted to share with you what happened.
He got off the plane and got into a bullet proof vehicle, got to the area to meet with the Major General (2 Star) who is the commander here at Bagram.

The One

Saturday, August 2nd, 2008

Here is the latest John McCain ad and it is a very good one. Pass this far and wide; Barack Obama has an amazingly narcissistic opinion of himself. As a self-described Christian, you would think the junior senator of Illinois would remember Philippians 2:3 (NIV):

“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.”
