I owe many of you an apology; close friends like Dino Minutillo and JB Williams tried to warn me about stupid Americans, but I had more faith in you America. I was wrong. Consider it my mission to educate our country on Our American Christian Heritage, what brought about our American Revolution, and how the public educational system’s deliberate attempt to deny both of these historical facts have led to the dumbing down of America. There is much swirling around the Internet about President-elect Bararck Obama’s birth certificate. Contrary to what his official website and FactCheck.org would have Americans believe, Barack Obama has never furnished the actual copy of his birth certificate.

That leaves only one question: why not?

A hat tip to Jason Zogelman and his friend for sending this wonderful “parable” about the redistribution of wealth.

Barack Obama discovers a leak under his sink, so he calls Joe the Plumber to come and fix it. Joe drives to Obama’s house, which is located in a very nice neighborhood where it’s obvious that all the residents make well over $250,000 per year. Joe arrives and takes his tools into the house. Joe is led to the room that contains the leaky pipe under a sink. Joe assesses the problem and tells Obama, who is standing near the door, that it’s an easy repair that will take less than 10 minutes.

Well, the World Series is over and not only is Joe the Plumber paying attention to the election, but so is Joe Sixpack. The everyday hardworking American who is striving not for a handout but a chance to pursue the American dream without government intervention.

Zogby has a new one-day poll today, and the last few days of the campaign is where you see these polling companies get their numbers tight because they do this for their livelihood and that cannot afford to be way off. Check out the headline from the Drudge Report:
