I'm going to try an organize something with our homeschool group- moms and teens, if someone will volunteer to stay with they young'uns! ;-) I love Ben Stein, he's a genius, and the only person I can tolerate on the Sunday morning show on Cbs. It dismisses the easy excuse of "Hitler was crazy and hated Jews", replacing it with "Hitler was carrying out Darwin's ideals". I liked Ben Stein's stupid-sounding questions that ultimately made the atheist say "I don't know". I delighted in his deadpan humor and nifty use of black and white clips spliced throughout the movie. He will hopefully attract the secular crowd more than other documentaries against Darwinism. The best, most unique feature of this was its emphasis on retaining FREEDOM OF DISCUSSION, so you won't further lose other freedoms. I liked it how Stein made people feel like they were all novices on a voyage of discovery--eugenics needs to be brought to light, brought out into the open. Described on the movie as the darkest chapter in American medicine, it continues in different forms today, most obviously through cloning experiments and abortion. It is unique and well-rounded, not only by the way evolution's stupidity is exposed, but better yet because of the unique attempt to restore DISCUSSION instead of ending the controversy.
