Brother Brunet, My wife and I have been members of the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints since our Baptism in 1974. We have raised six children in the “Mormon” Faith. Three of our sons serve our country in the military and have two tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan. Matthew is a physician anesthesiologist and a Captain in the Air Force. Patrick and Kenny are Enlisted Army Combat Medics having served in front line units both suffering permanent injuries in service above self learned largely at church. One of my daughters has a Master’s Degree in nursing and serves in Australian hospitals and my other daughter has two degrees one of which is nursing and gives selfless duty to less fortunates…also learned largely in church. Another son is not in the medical field but builds good, economical homes for people and gives service selflessly. Doesn’t our shared King James Bible say that good fruit cannot come from bad trees and that by their fruit you shall know them? Sir, I have never ever heard a “Mormon” speak badly of anothers’ faith or denegrate their beliefs. We believe that we are all the children of a Heavenly Father and are on a path toward the goal of salvation. I accept and respect your beliefs and if you are an honest, decent person and otherwise qualified I would certainly NOT disqualify you as a presidential candidite because you are an Evangelical Christian and would expect the same from you. Respectfully yours in Christ, Kenneth W. Ockander
