It needs to be shouted from the house tops. This down to earth, common sense way of thinking would be revolutionary to millions of Americans. So many of those around us have adapted their lives to the big government, socialist, anti-God life style and mind set. Keep shouting the news! God save us!! This video of Ronald Reagan is perhaps the best voice I’ve heard for what we believe. It needs to be shouted from the house tops. This down to earth, common sense way of thinking would be revolutionary to millions of Americans. I'm a little young and was not interested too much in politics when he came into office- plus I was still in Canada at that time, but what I do remember is the difference he made in cleaning up the mess left over by Carter- I still actually remember more about Carter than Reagan. I had a talk about the entitlement attitude with my son this morning actually. He's getting to be a little stinker lately about expecting things from people and from me and Dad, that frankly, he hasn't worked toward. I told him that the mean things he sees on the news sometimes is because so many people have grown up to believe that we are all entitled to what we want- right now,and that if they don't have something thayt they want- they'll go out and steal it. Until these folks start learing to do for themselves, the big government will always be quick to give what doesn't belong to them to those who won't work for it themselves. It really, really does come down to a difference in worldviews, and unfortunately, I don't see many trying to change. We are looked at (latest, Charles Barclay) as mean ol' conservatives, and in mr. Barclay's words- fake christians. So many of the "progressive" left still want government involved in things that government has no business being in- many things that evengelical Christians have been succsessfully working toward in the private sector. Unless people are so sick of big brother, I really don't see things changing any time soon- but I pray I'm wrong. Thank you Dave- God Bless!!!
