Ann is certainly off the deep end when it comes to McCain's record
on the war, but we do have a serious problem.

McCain's nomination would likely cause many Republicans not to vote
which will ensure a Democratic presidency. Even if McCain was to
win the Presidency, we have the Amnesty problem. He will give the
illegals Amnesty. He even states it in recent debates, but calls it
compassion. He talks about securing the borders first saying that
he heard Americans, but avoids what to do with the rest of them.

If Amnesty happens, it will almost ensure Democratic control for
many years. Imagine the 10 million illegals (conservative number)
becoming citizens. Many say that 30 million more will follow when
that happens as a result of the family tie.

ALL OF THESE WILL VOTE DEMOCRAT. The Republican Party could
be destroyed as we know it. To some degree, I agree with Ann when
it comes to this point.

Ann has been in Romney's pcoket for six months. I know that because she told me. She has repeatedly been given information about Romney's support for gun control, gay programs in the schools, taxes, state funding of abortion and even how Romney initiated homosexual marraige in Massachusetts. She willfully and purposely withheld this info from her columns, just as Hannity, Limbaugh, Ingraham and other have also done.
The manipulation by our "leaders" this election cycle has been shocking and it time to quit listening and reading to those who have an agenda which is not always in the best interest of conservatism.

I have been following elections for 50 years and have never encountered such a critical event as the 2008 presidential election. I understand where Ann is coming from, but I will not vote for Hiliary or Obama. I do believe that because Sen. Clinton desires popularity with power, she would be on a relatively "short chain" if elected. She would push for socialized healthcare, but if 'we the people' would follow through and vote a GOP congress back into power , I believe this can could be stopped. I have many concerns about Obama. On his team are members of the NOI and his church has honored Farakan. These Islamic ties and his known agenda is disturbing. Both Sen. Clinton and Sen. Obama are pro-death candidates and I can not vote for anyone who is in favor of abortions. Ann Coulter is backing Gov. Romney. I can not share her decision. Gov. Romney, in my humble opinion, serves a foreign god and I am perplexed that at one time he supported abortion rights. Sen. McCain has not been an upright, honest individual in his bid for the presidency and this too concerns me. With Sen. McCain we will have amnesty, which I believe is a blatant disregard for our laws. So, how do we resolve this dilemma? As believers in Christ Jesus I believe we should be in fervent, earnest prayer for our nation. For me, personally, as you indicated you will Dave, I plan to vote for Fred Thompson in the primary. I will pray and ask the Lord's guidence in making a sound decision, after the convention. I would also like to say that I believe we may see a very heated convention and things that appear decided after the primaries may take a different turn of events. I think I would welcome some heated, profound, logical debate at the convention. I plead with God's children to pray, particularly pray that our candidates will be honest, I see to much lying in all the campaigns and our God can not honor a liar. Our nation, under God, is at stake.

Normally I like Ann a lot, but in this case, I think she's lost her marbles. Dave, this whole election thing is getting me down. Not just with the state of the GOP, but in general- how people can think people like obama and billary can do well for this country is beyond me. The way I see it- if the gop wins,we'll pretty much have business as usal in Washington- but if obama wins, we'll have amnesty, drivers licenses and free everything for illegals, or in billery's case- forced socialist healthcare. I don't really want business as usual- can't afford tax hikes, can't stand to see such huge gov'nt waste- but can't even fathom the other. God Bless you Dave- I'll keep on praying~ Carolyn
